What: This is a writing class whose topic is write a blog post. The text is a blog article, the author puts forward three suggestions for online safety. The main purpose is clear, the structure is complete and concise. Blog posts have two parts, the blog part and the comments part. The blog area is the main part. In the first paragraph. The author puts forward the problems to be discussed and shows that he is not an expert, which means it isnt the opinion of the authoritative expert, but the personal experience. The author creates an atmosphere of communication with readers like friends with an honest attitude. The second paragraph is the author's three suggestions, using first of all, second, and third to connect, which makes it more coherent. Three main points are expressed in imperative sentence patterns followed by the connecting words, which are clear and easy to read and understand. The author describes three common types of cyber misbehavior: identity theft, trolls and cyberbully. The last paragraph invites readers to share their experiences and comment, which is a common way to end a blog post. In the comments section, two people added specific cases of troll and cyberbully,  echoing the content of the article.
Why: The purpose of the writing is to enhance students awareness of online safety and learn the necessary skills to stay safe online, including knowing how to protect themselves when they use the Internet. The text can not only ask students to pay attention to the features of the blog but also show students some writing skills.
How: The reading is presented in the form of a blog. Students are supposed to know the features of a blog, share the methods of online safety, grasp some useful skills of writing blogs, and finally write a blog about the suggestions of online safety.
